Nepal Police
Nepal Police have arrested and paraded members of a ring involved in
faking marriages of Nepali girls and women and sending them to China and
Korea. The arrested including Chheru Sherpa are allegedly believed to
be involved in activities of making fake marriage documents of Nepali
girls and Chinese and Korean nationals and sending the Nepali girls
abroad. Organising a press conference today, the Central Investigation
Bureau CIA paraded Chheru Sherpa, who has been running an international
marriage bureau, her accomplice Bipan Nagarkoti and Korean agent Hi
Chang. Police said the arrested had been fleecing huge amounts from
Chinese and Korean nationals- up to 2.5 million rupees per one fake
marriage document- and trafficking the Nepali girls. Police
investigation shows the racket has so far sent 15 Nepali girls abroad.
Likewise, the CIA has also arrested two Bangladeshi nationals for their
involvement in withdrawing money from various online financial agencies
through unauthorised access. The arrested are Yahmad bin Musa and Shah
