Schedule for Dhangadi Premiere League Cricket published

The match schedule has been published for the Dhangadi Premier League DPL T-20 Cricket tournament which is slated to begin from March 28 in Dhangadi. Tournament organiser Dhangadi Cricket Academy published the match schedule issuing a press release. In the tournament with six participating teams, local team Chauraha Dhangadi and Kathmandu Goldens are scheduled to compete in the inaugural match. The tournament finale is set for April 13. The participating teams includes Biratnagar Kings, Kathmandu Goldens, Rupandehi Challengers, C.Y.C Attariya, Mahendranagar United and Chauraha Dhangadi. The tournament will be organised on league cum knock-out basis. Four teams standing top in the group stages will advance to the play-offs. Teams bearing the first and second position will compete in the qualifiers for the final, the winner of which will secure its place in the finale while the looser will receive another qualifiers opportunity against the winner from the play-off between third and fourth positioned teams. Tournament winner will be awarded with a cash prize of Rs. 2.5 million while the runner-up will receive Rs. 1 million. Likewise, third position will be awarded with Rs 300 thousand and the fourth with Rs 200 thousand. Best player of the tournament will be awarded with a motorcycle.
