Sher Bdr Thapa furious when asked about Dalai Lama

Former prime minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has drawn widespread criticism regarding his meeting with prime minister of exiled Tibetan government at Goa, India. Deuba, along with prime minister of the exiled Tibetan government Lobsang Sange, were among the main speakers at a programme organized by India Foundation. Deuba's participation in the programme has led to Nepali Congress's violation of One China policy, whereas China is also seeking clarification on the matter from Nepal's Foreign Affairs Ministry. Former Minister of Foreign Affairs Mahendra Bahadur Pandey noted that Deuba--a responsible leader of a responsible party and former executive head, participating together with a representative of Dalai Lama at a programme in equal capacities was a serious mistake. BITE... However, Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Prakash Sharan Mahat has claimed that the programme of India Foundation attended by Deuba did not have participation of any Tibetan leader. BITE... Talking with Image Channel, he also asserted that the news of China asking opinion on One-China policy from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs was untrue.
