One killed in cross firing

One person was killed in a fire exchange between Rautahat police and an unknown armed group. The fire exchange took place when Mid-regional police of Hetauda tried to act on a tip-off on smuggling near a river bank at Debahi-8, Rautahat. The deceased has been identified as 44-year-old Indian national Tejilal Shah. Police personnel Surendra Chaudhary has been taken injured after the incident. He is undergoing treatment at the district hospital.
