Sandeep Lamichhane gets Jersey no.1 from Delhi Daredevils

Indian Premier League IPL team Delhi Daredevils organising a program in Kathmandu has handed over the official team jersy to Nepali spinner Sandip Lamichhane. Delhi Daredevils had picked Sandip in the IPL auction rendering Sandip to become the first Nepali to play in the IPL. An official delegation arriving in Kathmandu under the leadership of Delhi Daredevils C.E.O Hemanta Duwa handed over the jersy to Sandip. Sandip is assigned with jersy marked number 1. Speaking during the program Delhi Daredevils C.E.O Hemant Duwa said that they had been following Sandip's performance for last one year and picked him after being impressed with his trials in Delhi. Chief guest in the program National Sports Council member Secretary Keshav Kumar Bist expressed firm belief that Sadip would make best use of this opportunity and prove to be a pride of the nation. Sandip will play under the captaincy of Indian player Gautam Ghambir.
