PDF is abbreviated as portable document file, to save your file in this format you need your file name with extension .pdf. For example: “mydocument.pdf” Specially this format is used when you need to save a file which cannot be modified in future and can be print any time. Now a day’s almost every people are using Adobe Reader or other program in their computer. It can read your pdf file easily.
In this tutorial, we will have a quick look at how to use PDFO app to create pdf files.
Step 1: First of all, open PDFO app from the app list in your Android/IOS . You will see a user friendly UI with simple layout and a completely blank screen which will be populated as you created pdf files.
Step 2: Next click on 'Plus' button (+) at the middle bottom of the blank screen. You will see menu that lets you choose between Camera and Gallery. Next, if we are to scan the documents, we can click on Camera. If we want to create from pre-saved files, we can click on Gallery and select the pictures. Here, we choose Camera option.
Step 3 : Camera is opened when we click the option. Now, capture the documents carefully by adjusting the document edges and click picture of the document. A thumbnail of the recent clicked picture indicating page number appears at the bottom left corner of the screen. If the document is of 2 or more than 2 pages, we again click on the same shutter button until complete pages are captured. Then click 'Finish' button at the bottom right of the screen.
Step 4 : After clicking the Finish button, a page appears where all the captured shots with page number is indicated. There you can adjust the pages as per your wish. After you have checked and manage the pages, click on the 'Finish' button at the top right of the screen.
Step 5 : Now, the quality selecting page will appear in the screen. From this page, you can select the quality according to your need. Selecting higher quality will result to higher sized pdf file. We recommend you to choose Medium quality or as per your need.
Step 6 : After selecting the quality, PDFO app, on the next screen lets you type custom name of your pdf file created just now. This feature of the app is good as we find other apps creating file with their pre-determined filename. Type the name in the Given text box and click 'Ok'. Your Pdf file was created!
When you reopen the app, the file will appear on the starting screen of the app. File can be accessed by clicking PDFO folder inside Internal Storage.
A benefit of using this app as pdf creator might be easy UI and one touch pdf file creation with custom filename. It also doesn't have watermarks in the background.
