Hitman of Justice arrested after 3 years

The main hit-man involved in the murder of former justice Rana Bahadur Bam, Sanjaya Smali Magar has been arrested in Saudi Arabia. Former Supreme Court Justice Rana Bahadur Bam was shot and killed near UN Park in Lalitpur almost three years ago. Unveiling the mystery behind Bam's murder only two-and-a-half months ago, the police had taken control of a few persons including the mastermind of the murder Babu Thapa. Four persons including erstwhile Vice-Chairman of Chhure Bhabar National Party Babu Thapa are now behind bars. Police had also impounded the motorcycle and pistol which were used in the killing. Others involved in the shooting Karan Chaudhari (Shiva) and Dipak Karna were arrested from Janakpur. Main hit-man Sanjaya was found to have headed for Saudi Arabia only one month before the arrest of the orchestrator Thapa. Nepal Police had issued a 'red corner' notice through the Interpol after Sanjaya was reported to have left for the middle-East in course of foreign employment. Chief of Central Investigation Bureau Hemanta Bahadur Malla informed that with all required documents asked by the Interpol already sent, the arrested would soon be extradited to Nepal.
