Nepali Congress leader Dr. Prakash Sharan Mahat has urged the parties to
work on constitution endorsement as per people's sentiment saying
agitation was not the answer to the problem. Speaking at a programme
held by the Reporters' Club in the capital today, he stressed on taking
the talks ahead by adhering to agreement forged on January 22. He was of
the view that responsibility on disputes over division of three eastern
and 2 western districts regarding the issue of federalism had to be
handed over to people. BITE...
Also speaking at the programme, CPN-UML leader Bhim Rawal said
opposition parties could join the government, adding that the latter's
engagement in demonstration would not result in statute drafting.

Unified CPN-Maoist leader Barshaman Pun stated that oppositions were
ready to sit for talks abiding by the agreement forged on January 19.
Similarly, leader of Madheshi Janadhikar Forum- Democratic Jitendra Dev
said the constitution had to be endorsed through the Constituent
Assembly.
