CA meeting deferred due to failure to forge consensus among political parties;

The CA meeting called for today has been postponed after consensus could not be forged among political parties on debated issues of constitution writing. The CA meeting called for 5 in the evening was deferred after it was without agenda. The next meeting of the CA has been called for 3 pm tomorrow. Meanwhile, senior leaders of major political parties, who have been holding discussion on debated issues since morning, have not yet been able to forge consensus on the same. Senior leaders are focused on bilateral and multi-lateral discussions as they differ in opinions on the issue of federal demarcation. Meeting of the Dialogue Committee is said to be held after parties settle issues via unofficial discussions. Parties share difference in opinions on federal demarcation albeit there is not much problem in other issues. Nepali Congress and CPN-UML are centered on 5 or 6 federal states whereas Unified CPN-Maoist and Forum Democratic are stressing on number of federal states to be 6 or 8.
