Charity match for the victims of earthquake in Nepal played in Malaysia
Team Nepal lost to World 11 by 37 runs in the Twenty 20 charity match played to support the victims of the earthquake. Chasing a target of 136 runs, Nepal were all out for 98 runs with four balls to spare. Nepal has continued its poor run of batting performance in this match as well. Anil Mandal and Raju Rijal scored 17 runs each. Likewise, Naresh Budhair and Siddhanta Lohani added 13 runs each while Sharad Bheswakar and Mehboob Alam scored 11. Captain Parash Khadka managed only two runs while Sompali Kami scored seven runs, Shakti Gauchan made two and Abhinash Karna managed to score just one while Rajesh Pulami was out for a duck. Prior to this, batting first, World 11, the team led by Sri Lankan legend Sanath Jayasuriya managed a total of 135 runs. After an aggressive opening to the innings, they were bowled out for 135 runs in 19.4 overs.
