Prime Minister points out one force still against constitution making process

Prime Minister Sushil Koirala has stated that there was one force still against the constitution making process even when the statute promulgation has been confirmed. During his meeting with leaders of the Joint Dalit Struggle Committee who had gone to submit their memorandum at the PM's official residence at Baluwatar, Prime Minister Koirala said a cautionary warning was necessary to do away with the forces which are against constitution endorsement. Saying the identity of the country could be in jeopardy in case of failure to endorse the constitution this time, PM Koirala urged everyone to remain calm. BITE... Prime Minister Koirala claimed that efforts were being made to address the sentiments of all groups through the new constitution. He opined that it was sad to see people tearing and burning the constitution draft in the pretext that their demands had not been addressed. BITE... Saying it was not his intent to prolong his stay at the helm, PM Koirala explicitly stated that he would step down immediately after the statute promulgation. He expressed commitment on making effort to include the demands and spirit of the people in the constitution even after stepping down from his post. Meanwhile, other associations including Deshbhakta Forum also submitted their memorandums enlisting their suggestions to the PM today.
