Major parties strike deal to go for six federal states
Political parties have forged consensus on the issue of federal demarcation. With the agreement among political parties, the basis for Constitution endorsement has been prepared. Parties have agreed on number of federal states to be six. The consensus on number and demarcation of federal states forged among the political forces will be discussed in the meeting of the Dialogue Committee today itself. Preparation has been made to submit the improvised draft report in the CA after approval from the Dialogue Committee. The CA meeting has also been called for today, although it is not certain if the meeting will be held.
