Boys United Club, Kathmandu have
clinched the title of Surunga Goldcup Football 2072. Boys United edged home
team Jhapa-11 1-nil in the final match of the tournament today to bag cash prize
of Rs. 251,111 along with the trophy. Suman Lama's goal in the 27th minute of
the second half became the decider for the match to go in favour of the
visiting team. Bishal Rai of Jhapa was adjudged the man of the match today,
while Suman Lama of Boys United was declared the man of the series.
