India effects strict measures on imports to Nepal; Day's influx sees only one gas bullet enter Nepal


India has effected stricter measures on imports to Nepal. The inflow of vehicles were only limited to goods carriers today, with nil influx of fuel products. The freight carriers entered Nepal via eastern border of Kakadbhitta- Panitanki and transits at Nepalgunj- Rupadiya and Bhairahawa- Sunauli. Only one gas bullet entered Nepal through Nepalgunj- Rupadiya transit today. Elsewhere, the local administration has introduced respite to the curfew it has been imposing in Birgunj. The curfew duration was lifted from 6a.m. to 8p.m. today. However, protesting cadres of the Madheshi Front have been staging their sit-in at Miteri bridge. The main dry port of the country at Birgunj is still completely shut.
