Full operation resumes at Rasuwagadhi transit; 14 goods carriers and 26 Chinese grant fuel carriers enter Nepal

Full operation has resumed in Rasuwagadhi border with containers which had departed for Kyirong in China entering Nepal today. Fourteen out of 17 containers which had gone to Kyirong yesterday ferried commodities like apples and readymade goods today. This is the first time goods carriers have entered from Rasuwagadhi transit after the major earthquake. Similarly, the customs there has also informed that 26 container trucks which had gone to bring fuel being provided by China as grant have ferried 270 thousand litres of fuel. A total of 97 tankers have brought 925 thousand litres of fuel so far.
