Dr. K.C. hunger strike against bribery

Dr. Govind K.C., who has been staging fast-unto-death repetitive times demanding reforms in Nepal's heath and medicine sectors, has once again started the same. Dr. KC has staged hunger strike for the 8th time lamenting the government did not implement the agreement forged with him and the stakeholders while breaking his strike. staging the strike at a room in the second floor of the Ganeshman Singh building of the TU teaching hospital, Dr. K.C. said he was compelled to stage the fast-unto-death one more time saying the government had betrayed him several times. He demanded amendment and approval of Medical Education Act draft and impeachment of Chief of the Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority Lok Man Singh Karki. Saying the government has gone against the suggestions for Mathema report, Dr. KC. demanded taking the procedure to take action against the parliamentarians trying to approve bill on establishing an academy.
