Sushila Karki approved as Chief justice

Parliamentary Special Hearing Committee has approved Sushila Karki as the chief justice. After Karki made clear about the complaints and grievance in today's meeting of the committee, She was approved unanimously. Answering about the complaints in the committee, officiating chief justice Karki said no one can go against law and constitution. Saying it was everyone's responsibility to abide by constitution, she said constitution for judiciary was like a Holy-book. Regarding recommendation of former parliamentarian of CPN-UML and senior advocate Sapana Pradhan Malla, Karki said political sentiments should not be brought in the court. Parliamentarians had suggested to increase faith towards judiciary and to avoid delay in preparing bill of the final decision.
