Government to amend proposal of new constitution by November

Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said that the government will register the amendment proposal to the new constitution by mid November. Addressing a press meet organised at Singha Durbar to mark the completion of 100 days since he assumed office today, Dahal said that the amendment proposal has already been prepared and the government is holding discussion with the main opposition CPN-UML regarding the same.
In course of the same, Dahal said his government was able to carry out programmes in 100 days which was impossible to materialize in 300 days. Saying that he has always been striving to create an environment of trust and agreement between the ruling and opposition parties, PM Dahal reiterated his commitment that the government would move ahead by forging national consensus to deal with the issues of constitution amendment and the impeachment motion against suspended Chief of Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority. PM Dahal claimed that his government has been successful in improving Nepal’s ties with China and India.
