Parliament works resumed in Lokman's case

Deliberations have resumed in the Parliament on the impeachment motion against the chief of Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority Lok Man Singh Karki. Albeit the meeting was scheduled for Thursday, it was deferred for today considering the celebration of Phalgunanda Jayanti the previous day. However, most of parliamentarians including senior leaders of the major parties were not present in the House. The Parliament on October 25 had begun discussions on the motion filed by 157 parliamentarians of the main opposition CPN-UML and the ruling CPN Moaist Centre on October 19.
