Hong Kong market catches fire
Hong Kong bazaar near Prithvi Chowk in Pokhara was engulfed by fire late last night. The fire gutted 30 shutters in front of Sahara Club in the eastern side of the flea market, causing loss of more than 50 million rupees. The fire was brought under control by personnel of Nepal Police, Nepal Army, the Armed Police Force, local residents and the fire brigade. Police have speculated electric short circuit to be the cause that triggered the fire.
