Tourism industry of Rasuwa district heading towards excellent

Number of tourists visiting Langtang National Park of Rasuwa district has increased. Arrival of domestic and international tourists have increased at Langtang and Gosaikunda region which is believed to be Nepal's third tourist destination. According to Chief Conservation Officer of Langtang National Park Yubraj Regmi, 2,600 people have arrived the district by the first four-month period of the fiscal year 2073/74. Six hundred and twenty-three tourists had arrived the district in the same time period last year. Since October-November is the high-time to see influx of tourists, more than hundred tourists are visiting the place on a daily basis, Regmi informed. Langtang region, visited by around fifteen thousand people yearly had witnessed fall in number of tourists following the massive earthquake of April, 2015.
