Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal
and Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba held a parley today with
discussion focused on the proposal of constitution amendment. The
conversation held at the prime minister's official residence at Baluwatar is
learnt to have centred on the core matter of the amendment- demarcation of
federal units. The parley was held in the backdrop of the Madheshi parties
raising demands on issues like proportional inclusiveness and citizenship.
Prime Minister Dahal has intensified effort on holding dialogue to make the
constitution amendment acceptable to the ruling, opposition and agitating
parties. Before this, Congress President Deuba had held parley with chairman
of opposition CPN-UML K. P. Oli.
