Don Manoj killed in an encounter

Two persons including ring leader Manoj Pun have been killed in police encounter. Pun and his aide Som Aale died after getting shot by police bullets in Bhawanipur, Devdha-4 of Rupandehi district. A team led by DSP of Central Investigation Team Angur G.C encountered Pun. They died after getting shot by the police team which had reached the place as per the information they got about the ongoing criminal activities. According to SP of Rupandehi Shyam Gyawali, they died when police fired in retaliation after Pun's team opened fire at police, first. Police informed that the two, who were both injured by the bullet breathed their last in Lumbini Zonal Hospital. They were in blacklist of police for almost one and a half years in accusation of murdering President of Youth Union, Rupandehi Durga Tiwari and member of the Union Basanta Poudel. Meanwhile, Police also had been accusing them of being involved in the murder of Construction Entrepreneurs Federation's President Sarad Gauchan. Police had been accusing Pun with different murders of entrepreneurs and taking ransom amount.
