Tuborg Bikash football - 13th edition begins in Chitwan
The 13th edition of Tuborg Bikash Running Shield International Invitational football tournament has begun in Chitwan. Chairperson of the newly formed Nepal Communist Party, Pushpa Kamal Dahal inaugurated the tournament which began in Campa-Chaur located in Narayagadh. In the match held on Tuesday Friends Club of Kathmandu registered a 1-nil win against Bijaya Youth Club of Hetauda. The only and winning goal for Friends was scored by foreign player Jonal Glory. Jonal Glory was adjudged 'man of the match'. In Wednesday's game Narayangadh Football Club (NFC) is slated to face ANFA Academy from Kathmandu. The tournament has a total of 12 participating teams including 1 from India. The tournament winner will bag a cash prize of Rs 500 thousand while the runner-up will secure a consolation prize of Rs 250 thousand.
