Sher Bdr Deuba failed in the eyes of his own fellow party members, Shashank Koirala believes to find a new party president

Nepali Congress General Secretary Dr. Sashank Koirala has said that the party will find an alternative to party president Sher Bahadur Deuba for the parliamentary party leader. Talking to media-persons in Bharatpur, Chitwan on Tuesday, General Secretary Koirala said that since Deuba had failed in his role of party leadership, the party had decided to look for an alternative for the position of parliamentary party leader. He added that if he was elected unanimously, he himself was prepared to represent as the parliamentary party leader from Nepali Congress. General Secretary Koirala said he would call the meeting of the High Commission and the Central Committee and proceed with the party empowerment campaign. He opined that the CPN-UML and CPN-MC alliance had further added challenges for Nepali Congress. He claimed that Nepali Congress too will proceed creating alliances with parties and leaders holding similar ideologies.
