Arrest warrant issued against Biplav

Arrest warrant has been issued for General Secretary of Nepal Communist Party Netra Bikram Chand aka Biplav. Police had filed a case against 20 people including Biplav accusing the latter of being involved in throwing explosives and killing people adding that they attempted the bomb explosions in Bhojpur at the time of provincial assembly and federal assembly elections. Similarly, the vehicle carrying Former Communication Minister Sherdhan Rai was also attacked on Nov 14, 2017. Bomb explosions took place in many other parts of the districts as well. It is informed that the police had moved forward the arrest process of Chand and other leaders following the warrant, issued by District Court on Dec 24, 2017. District Police Office, Kapilvastu informed that the arrest warrant against Chand has also been pasted at the house of Biplav in Shivaraaj of Kapilvastu. Meanwhile, Police Chief DSP Dipendra Panjiyaar, informed that police have been deployed across the nation in order to arrest Chand.
