Karnali CM encouraging modern thinking

Karnali Province chief minister Mahendra Bahadur Shahi has said it is highly important to bring change in the traditional and conservative thought process, working-style and the way of doing things. Chief minister Shahi opined to this effect during the inauguration ceremony of the Road-Safety campaign in Birendranagar on Saturday. The Road-Safety program was also initiated across 215 police units in all 10 districts of the Karnali Province. Chief Additional Inspector General of the provincial police, Run Bahadur Chanda informed that the the Road Safety program was brought into operation in the province in light of the fact that most of the deaths in the province were caused by road accidents.
