PM Oli inaugurates Bir Hospital surgical building
Prime Minister K.P. Sharma Oli has warned of taking strict actions against those who indulge in corruption. Speaking at the inauguration ceremony of a surgical building in National Academy of Medical Sciences Bir Hospital, Prime Minister K.P. Oli who is also the chancellor of National Academy of Medical Sciences said that he himself would avoid any form and corruption and strongly warned all to avoid corrupt practices or he would spare no one. He said a corrupt individual would not be allowed with any excuses. PM Oli directed all employees to commit themselves in service of the Nation and the people.
PM Oli expressed commitment towards modernizing the health sector and gradually making it more technology friendly. Saying that any carelessness in the medical sector was simply unacceptable, PM Oli directed all to dedicate themselves in service of Nepal and the Nepali people. He further directed to avoid any carelessness in treatment. PM Oli said that he would work on creating such environment where in the future no Nepali would have to visit abroad for medical treatment. He made it clear that there will be no compromise in quality when it comes to the health. Vice-Chancellor of National Academy of Medical Sciences Dr. Ganesh-Raj Gurung informed that the building is to be constructed with a budget of Rs 2 Billion and 850 million in 2 years duration. The 650 bed capacity surgical building is said to be equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and modern medical technological support.
