Sher Bahadur claims himself as parliamentary party member
President of Nepali Congress Sher Bahadur Deuba has claimed he himself will become the parliamentary party member. Deuba emphasized the same amid a tea party organized by General Secretary of Congress Shasank Koirala at his own residence in Tokha on the occasion of Holi. He announced he will file his nomination in the election of parliamentary party leader to be held on March 5. Former General Secretary Prakash Man Singh, who also has been claiming his candidacy on parliamentary party leader said the situation of unanimous vote is no more. Saying that the party is weakening due to the incumbent leadership, he said he will take the leadership of parliamentary part from now on. However, General Secretary Shasank Koirala, who organized tea party in order to finalize upcoming party's strategies and to create unanimous vote in parliamentary party leader, said he will be playing a role in finalizing the leader in unanimous way. Other leaders including Ram Chandra Poudel also attended the tea-party.
