President Dr. Ram Baran Yadav has suggested the Constituent Assembly Chair Subash Nembang to proceed with the constitution endorsement procedure. Saying that discontentment was growing in public with lack of tasks towards constitution endorsement, President Yadav has suggested the CA Chair to take initiatives on his own to hold dialogue among the political parties. CA Chair Nembang, in the meeting held at the President's official residence, Shital Niwas, said he was surprised at the lack of dialogue among the parties in the 27-day adjournment of the CA meeting which was actually meant for only 10 days. He also suggested the President to initiate efforts for dialogue among the parties. Saying that the political parties had failed to prove a point for postponement of CA meeting, he criticized the political leaders as well. The meeting dwelt on initiating efforts for consensus among the parties to endorse a new constitution on Republic Day. It was informed that the two leaders also delved into the overall scenario of the CA's winter sessions. The Constitution provision allows the President to call a parliamentary meeting following the recommendation of the Prime Minister.
