Nepal is playing against Afghanisthan in its second match at AFC Under-23 qualifiers underway in Iran. Nepal, having been beaten 5-0 by the host nation in the inauguration match of the tournament, are already in pressure. Nepal is grouped along with Saudi Arabia, Palestine, Afghanistan and Iran. A total of 15 nations including the group winners, and five best group runner ups of the qualification round being played by dividing the Asian nations into 10 groups will get to participate in the final round to be held in Qatar.
