Drafting Committee approves Constitution Bill; Major parties strike agreement on going for seven federal states

The Drafting Committee under the Constituent Assembly has endorsed the Constitution Bill. The meeting of the Committee held immediately after the major parties struck agreement on formation of seven states endorsed the Bill. The Committee has already presented the same Bill to Constituent Assembly Chairman Subash Nemwang. The CA will now hold article-wise discussions on the Bill. After the major parties reached agreement on going for seven federal states, Chairman of CA's Constitutional Political Dialogue and Consensus Committee Dr. Baburam Bhattarai had said the constitution making process would now move ahead from the Constituent Assembly
