Prime Minister K.P. Sharma Oli has
decided against stepping down despite CPN-Maoist Center withdrawing its
support to the government. The meeting of ruling parties excluding
CPN-Maoist Center, held at prime minister's official residence this
evening has decided that prime minister Oli will not give resignation.
The meeting has also decided to move ahead tackling any difficult
situation.
Meanwhile, CPN-UML's standing committee meeting has dwelt on the
decision taken by Maoists. It is understood that the standing meeting of
the party following the meeting of the ruling coalition witnessed
discussion on various alternatives.
