Sher Bdr returns from India
Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba has denied claims that he met with representative of Tibetan spiritual leader Dalai Lama during his stay in Goa, India. He also expressed outrage on media-persons over allegedly spreading false reports. Talking with media-persons at Tribhuwan International Airport upon his return from India, he expressed sadness on the publication of news made out of imaginary topics. He also urged the media sector to publish and amplify factual news reports. BITE... Saying Nepali Congress was committed on the One China policy, leader Deuba clarified that he had not held any parley that would infringe the interest of neighbouring China. On a different note, he said that his meeting with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi was centred on mutual relation between the two countries. He apprised saying Indian PM Modi had suggested to unite all forces for implementation of constitution in Nepal. BITE... Congress President Deuba said the decision of his party on the impeachment motion on the suspended anti-graft body chief Lokman Singh Karki would be taken after more discussion. He said the proposal on constitution amendment would be tabled at the Parliament after holding discussion with CPN-UML.
