East Rukum gets connected to internet for the first time
The Aath-bis-kot municipality in East Rukum has been connected to the global network known as the Internet for the first time ever. The first ever internet connection was installed at Raadi in Aath-bis-kot municipality. The service seekers had long been lamenting of the lack of Internet services despite the area being a municipality. The Internet connection was brought to Aath-bis-kot, Rukum via Jajarkot at an investment of Rs 2 Million. Chief of Aath-bis-kot municipality Gorakh Bahadur K.C. said the Internet was installed in the municipality following governments priority towards task-execution through the e-government system. Municipal chief K.C further informed that all 14 wards in Aath-bis-kot municipality would be connected to the Internet within the coming month.
